Welcome Educators! Frederick County is rich in history
and the members of the Frederick Historic Sites Consortium
can be a great resource for you and your students. This
website is your guide to the various museums, libraries
and historic sites that Frederick County has to offer.
Whether you are studying aspects of local history, life
in the 1800s, industry, agriculture, or the people who
shaped our world, the Consortium sites are your source
for further exploration. Many of the sites will work
with you to shape the programs to fit your students'
needs and your goals. We hope you will utilize us to
help you link your lessons to the rich history, technology
and change that occurred right in your own backyard.
Just call or e-mail a site to set up your educational
experience!
An educator's e-newsletter is mailed twice per year
